Lok Sabha (House of the People)
Rajya Sabha (Council of States)
Rajya Sabha is the Upper House of Parliament.

B.S. Yediyurappa and controversies -
It was alleged that his sons B. Y. Raghavendra and Vijayendra, and son-in-law R. N. Sohan Kumar have received Rs 20 crore in a 'murky deal' from a Bellary-based mining firm for selling a six acre plot in a high profile IT park in Bangalore.
Raghavendra, the chief minister's another son B Y Vijendra and his son-in-law Sohan Kumar had Rs 20 crore transferred to their accounts from a mining firm in Toranagallu in Bellary district in August towards the sale of six acres at a tech Park here. Raghavendra received Rs 10 crore, Vijendra and Kumar Rs 5 crore each, Kumaraswamy said.
Raghavendra and his younger brother Vijayendra got huge favours after their father became Karnataka deputy chief minister in 2006.
Going by market rate the brothers are now sitting on land worth Rs 500 crore.
Raghavendra got a Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) plot in the posh RMV extension in Bangalore after he was elected to the Lok Sabha in 2009 under the MP's quota. He paid just Rs 10 lakh but the market value is over Rs 2 crore.
BDA rules say if Raghavendra or his family own property in Bangalore then he is not eligible.
But documents with CNN-IBN clearly show that Raghavendra has lied in an affidavit saying he owns no other property in Bangalore.
He forgot that he already owns a mansion at Manyata in Bangalore.
Yeddyurappa is also accused of favouring his daughter Umadevi in setting up a BPO. She got two acres of land on the outskirts of Bangalore.
There are also allegations of the family members getting over 5 acres of land in their home town Shimoga for a hospital and 2 acres for a factory in Bangalore.
Another 11 acres denotified in favour of his sons in March this year are now worth Rs 181 crore. Interestingly, most of these revelations are coming from Janata Dal (Secular) leader HD Kumaraswamy, who was the chief minister when Yeddyurappa was his deputy.
The Yeddyurappa government in Karnataka has announced a judicial inquiry into the land scam allegedly involving the Chief Minister and his family.
Always learn to ask what are the powers of this judicial committee,
to whom , in how many days report will be given, do they got powers to arrest or file police complaint
Or this is just waste of Indian tax payers money.
What is the use of inquiry if there is no punishment , no time limit regarding inquiry.

Controversies and Maharashtra Chief Minister – Prithviraj Chavan –
Bt Brinjal –
He is supporter of Bt Brinjal
Mr. Chavan pushed for Bt Brinjal in a letter he copied word for word from a study funded by biotech seed companies, including Monsanto.
He is presenting an undemocratic GM bill to ease the legalisation of Bt Brinjal, rice, and more—without any public input. Mr. Chavan is supposed to serve the people of India. Instead, he’s serving the interests of biotech seed corporations. The accusations were made by the Green Peace.
Flat Benefits – Enjoyed by New Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan
RTI activist Anil Galgali, who blew the lid on the ingenious scam, said: "I had filed an RTI application to find out what happened to the flats allotted under the Chief Minister's Discretionary Quota Scheme. A majority of the flats had been allotted to politicians and their close relatives."
The Chief Minister's Discretionary Quota Scheme, 1976, was originally meant for citizens from the economically weaker sections to apply for flats surrendered by developers.
According to the Maharashtra Urban Land Ceiling Act (repealed in 2007), it was mandatory for realtors to keep some flats vacant in lieu of constructing on government land.
The idea was to facilitate mass housing for the poor.
Apart from members of the economically backward community, the discretionary quota allowed journalists, artists and ex- servicemen to apply for flats.
Prithviraj Chavan admitted that he had been allotted a flat at Bhakti Park in Wadala in 2003 under the Chief Minister's Discretionary Quota.
Media has reported that there is confusion regarding salary showed by him.
Somewhere I read that flats were meant for MLA and he was MP.
Good thing is New CM has not sold his flat. Normally they purchase flat and make huge profits.
Example – Purchase the flat at the Rate of 100 Rs. Per sq,ft and sell that same flat at the Rate of 6000 or 10, 000 Rs. Sq,ft.

Political Career of Mamata Banerjee with Congress –
1970 Joined Congress I party.
1976 to 1980 – Held post of General Secretary of Mahila Congress (I), West Bengal,
In the 1984 general election, she became one of India's youngest parliamentarians ever, defeating veteran Communist politician Somnath Chatterjee, from the Jadavpur parliamentary Constituency in West Bengal.
She also became the General-Secretary of the All India Youth Congress.
In the Government formed in 1991 headed by Narsimha Rao as Prime Minister, Mamata Banerjee was in charge of the Union Minister of State for Human Resources Development, Youth Affairs and Sports, along with Women and Child Development.
She was discharged of her portfolios in 1993.
Formation of New Political Party - All India Trinamool Congress (AITC)
In 1997 she left congress party and established new political party All India Trinamool Congress (AITC)
On 11 December 1998, she controversially held a Samajwadi Party MP, Daroga Prasad Saroj, by the collar and dragged him out of the well of the Lok Sabha to prevent him from protesting against the Women's Reservation bill.
In 1999, she joined the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government and was allocated the Railways Ministry.
In 2000, Mamata Banerjee presented her first Railway Budget.
In early 2001, after making allegations against the BJP, she walked out of the NDA cabinet and allied with the Congress Party for West Bengal's 2001 elections, amidst speculation that the move could unseat the Communist government.
She returned to the cabinet in January 2004, holding the Ministry of Coal and Mines portfolios until the 2004 Elections, in which she was the only Trinamool Congress member to win a Parliament seat from West Bengal.
Year 2005 –
On 20 October 2005, she protested against the industrialization policy of the Buddhadev Bhattacharya government in West Bengal. Benny Santoso, CEO of the Indonesia-based Salim Group had pledged a large investment to West Bengal, and the West Bengal government had given him farmland in Howrah

The Trinamul Congress MLAs protested by damaging furniture and microphones in the West Bengal Assembly.
Government failed to handle this problem, Tata left and Mamta won.
Nandigram –
The West Bengal government wanted to start a chemical hub in the Nandigram
Mamta opposed that, locals also opposed the project, once again government failed to take the local people in confidence.
Trinamool Congress started a blockade.
On 14 March the cops stared firing and killed 14 villagers, when cops were sent to remove the blockade of around 6 months by Mamata Banerjee's violent movement there.
Again government failed to bring industry because of lack of good policy.
In 2009 parliament elections TMC and Congress, UPA alliance won.
And again she became the Railway Minister.
In 2010 TMC won in corporation elections of KOLKATA CORPORATION and Bidhan Nagar Corporation
Mamata Banerjee attitude towards Maoists
She is kind hearted towards Maoists –
Kolkata, July 21 Railway Minister and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee said she would request Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to stop the anti-Maoist joint operation in West Bengal as the state's ruling Left Front was using this to regain its political turf in the affected areas.
It is expected that in next elections she is going to win west Bengal elections and going to become Chief Minister of west Bengal.

Babus mean government officials.
Reality Views by sm:
Manmohan Singh is the one of the honest alive politician of India.
Normally he does not talk much, he believes in action and he shows it with his actions.
Mms is a common mans representation, he has worked as a professor, reader he knows the problems of middleclass as well as lower-class of India.
He can solve all the problems but main problem is that he does not have much support.
And expectations are high from him, but good thing is very slowly he is trying to change India. If he will try to change anything very ghastly he will be thrown away by congress as well as other political parties.
India is a nation where corruption is religion, so we must realize how it must be difficult for Mms to work with more than 90% corrupt or greedy or selfish politicians and leaders and government babus, employees of India.
We Indians can not even handle our own cooperative housing societies so think he has to[ Dr Manmohan Singh ] has to perform for India.
