On the Wings of Love - Jeffrey Osborne with Lyrics and Video-
Watch the video below lyrics ON THE WINGS OF LOVE

Lyrics of the song ON THE WINGS OF LOVE

Just smile for me and let the day begin
You are the sunshine that lights my heat within
I'm sure that you're an angel in disguise
Come take my hand and together we will rise

On the wings of love
Up and above the clouds
The only way to fly
Is on the wings of love
On the wings of love
Only the two of us
Together flying high
Flying high
Upon the wings of love

You look at me and I begin to melt
Just like the snow when a ray of sun is felt
I'm crazy bout ya baby can't you see
I'd be delighted if you could come with me

On the wings of love
Up and above the clouds
The only way to fly
Is on the wings of love
On the wings of love
Only the two of us
Together flying high
Flying high
Upon the wings of love

Yes you belong to me
I'm yours exclusively
Right now we live and breathe
Each other Insepreble it seems,
We're flowing like a stream
Running free flowing
On the wings of love

On the wings of love
Up and above the clouds
The only way to fly
Is on the wings of love
On the wings of love
Only the two of us
Together flying high
Together flying high

On the wings of love
Up and above the clouds
The only way to fly
Is on the wings of love
On the wings of love
Only the two of us
Together flying high
Together flying high
Upon the wings of love

More Information –
Recruitment of candidates to Army, Navy and Air force wings of the National Defence Academy (NDA), is through National Defence Academy Entrance Exam which is held twice a year, generally in the month of April and September. NDA exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The course of training is for three years.

The candidate is required to give his preference for the service he wishes to join, however the final decision also depends on the rank he secures in the merit list.
The candidate should first decide their preference for the two academies i.e. National Defence Academy and Naval Academy (Executive Branch) .
If a candidate opts for NDA as his first choice, he has to then give his preferences for the three wings of the NDA i.e. Army, Navy, Air force, followed by his preference for Naval Academy.
Alternatively, if he gives his first preference for Naval Academy, he has to follow it with his preference for the three wings of the NDA.
Candidates who desire to join Air Force Academy must indicate AFA as first choice, as they have to be administered pilot aptitude battery test at one of the AFSB and AF Medical at Central Medical Establishment/ Institute of Aviation Medicines.

Know 28 Ways to Stay Healthy and Keep Away Cold and Flu

Know 28 Ways to Stay Healthy and Keep Away Cold and Flu
Reality Views by sm -

In the year 1954 researchers identified the actual virus that causes cold and flu.
Virus means what and Bacteria means what?

What is the difference between Virus and Bacteria?

Both are world’s smallest microscopic organisms.

Bacteria do not cause flu and cold but they can give us other problems.

Some bacteria are good for humans and some cause health problems to humans.

Bacteria in the curd are good for health.

On the other hand all the Viruses cause health problems for humans.

Viruses are not good for human beings.

They are troublemakers for humans.

The growth of bacteria and virus is very rapid they grow very fast and multiply easily
And they change there cells also and adapt to new conditions this is one of the reasons we find very tough to fight with these viruses.

Antibiotics fight with bacteria but they do not fight with viruses.

A virus when enters human body it becomes part of human body then it becomes very difficult to find him and kill him and make and develop medicines to kill this virus.

Even many viruses change there genetic structure.

A cold is known as an upper respiratory infection, which means it’s restricted to the nose, throat and surrounding air passages. Most colds are not accompanied by fever.

Normally in the colder months and rainy seasons more people suffer from cold and flu.
Flu is infection of respiratory system and not stomach this is reason diarrhea and vomiting is not listed as symptoms of flu.

If you suffer more than 4 days or one week with flu and cold you should immediately visit to your doctor to prevent yourself from other health problems which may be detected very early and can be treated easily and which will save your money also.

There is no medicine which can give us permanent relief from cold and flu
This is reason prevention is better than cure.

Let’s know the ways how we can prevent cold and flu before it strikes, wages war against humans.

1. Wash your hands daily as many times as possible, if possible wash hand with mild hot water if you do not have soap, and try to wash each hand minimum 20 seconds. Cold and flu viruses are spread by direct contact with virus like touching a virus.

2. When you feel sneezes and coughs avoid sneezing directly at persons, try to go outside of the room, do not sneeze on your hands if you sneeze on your hands please wash them immediately. If you got tissue use it and thrown it away immediately in the dust been, not on the road and outside your window.

3. Always clean your office and home with disinfectants.

4. Do not share your toothbrush. Always purchase new toothbrush when you are recovered from cold and flu. Viruses stay in dark, moist, cool places; damp toothbrushes stored in cabinets are prime storage spots for viruses and breeding grounds for bacteria.

5. If possible after recovering from cold and flu change your towels purchase new towels if this is not possible then please wash those towels in the hot water.

6. After recovering from cold and flu wash all clothes, bed sheets in hot water.

7. Drink lot of water daily or have natural fresh fruits daily. Avoid packaged fruit juices .They are not good for health. Always go for fresh food and fruits.

8. Learn to breathe through your nose and not your mouth; learn to do deep breathing and other breathing exercises. Simple method I will tell you when you breathe just pay attention when oxygen enters your nose and how it travels in your body.

9. Broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels, sprouts, garlic , ginger, ginseng, kelp, mushrooms , honey, onions, citrus fruits ,berries such as currants and kale help you control cold and flu so eat those vegetables always.

10. Daily have a cup of yogurt if you are not allergic to it.

11. Stop smoking, if not then reduce it by listening music or watching movies, do anything which can delay your smoking needs.

12. Avoid drinking alcohol as much as possible if not possible reduce the intake of alcohol.

13. Stop drinking soft drinks, have fresh fruits and fresh juice made at home. It’s very easy to make lime juice.

14. If you are suffering from cold and flu sleep as much as possible.

15. Learn to drink hot milk daily in the morning or before sleep.

16. Learn to relax, help others, students, young and old humans this will give you happiness and this will keep you relaxes which will boost your immune system and keep you healthy.

17. Think positively and be happy.

18. Learn to smile lot , watch comedy shows or join smile classes but smile lot

19. Do brisk walking exercise or swimming or cycling

20. Aspirin should not be given to humans who are below age 16. Possible side effects stomach lining, cause nausea, pain, peptic ulcer, ringing in ears, internal bleeding who can not tolerate it. Many people take aspirin to get relief from fever and pain. Long term use of aspirin damages kidneys. Nearly it’s same with Ibuprofen.

21. Gargle – Gargling is also useful when you are suffering from cold and flu. Try teaspoon of salt mix it with mild hot water and gargle daily six to eight times.

22. Drink hot soups.

23. Inhale steam - Get the hot water in the pot, get towel over your head and bend over the steaming hot water and inhale. Breathe in vapor for 20 minutes. Repeat this daily 4 to 6 times. You can add Vicks in the hot water if you want.

24. Eating bananas soothe upset stomach; strengthen stomach lining against acid, antibiotic.

25. Eating bell peppers help immune system fight colds, asthma, bronchitis, and respiratory infections, high in vitamin c.

26. Mustard also helps when you are suffering from cold and sinus problems.

27. Onion fights with asthma , chronic bronchitis and infections

28. Prevention is better than Cure.

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh -RSS Why RSS should contest Elections

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh -RSS Why RSS should contest Elections and Become Political Party-
Reality Views by sm-
In India after Independence Congress ruled us with the laws and methods which were established by the British government for there colony called India.
That time also and this time also there is no other party which can defeat Congress party or reach to the levels of Congress party , the people of India given chance to Bjp but Bjp failed,
When came into the power, the strong leader Vajpayee found himself weak without support,
Here on the other hand Congress was successful proving that Man Mohan Singh is strong leader. Yes but Atal B. Vajpayee was also strong, but end up as a weak leader and Prime Minister.

India needs a new party which will change the face of India, which will change the laws of India, which will strive hard to make India a strong India, but currently if honestly if we look the situation, I don’t find there is any difference between Congress and Bjp or any other party.
They are all same with same desires and goals with different names.
An election cannot give a country a firm sense of direction if it has two or more national parties which merely have different names but are as alike in their principles and aims as two peas in the same pod.
Other than RSS there is no organization which can become a challenge for Congress.
Today Indians do not have any choice if they vote congress or if they vote Bjp or any local party, the result is same. Politicians are becoming richer day by day and common man in India is becoming poor day by day.

Rss is the only organization in India which has power to defeat the congress and win more than 300 sits in the elections and change the face and laws of India, making India a strong nation. RSS can only change our methods and system which are faulty, you may send there any person in our parliament but I guarantee you that he can not improve our nation.
I will give you example, our nation is a bus and driver is a political party, we are just changing the political party, in reality we need to change the bus which is faulty. Which was made by British government to rule the slaves of colony called India.

Today RSS says that RSS is not political party then why Rss is promoting and controlling parties like BJP, Vhp etc.
IF you will see the history of BJP all the top leaders belong to the Rss or who were the members of RSS in the past.

Why don’t you fight with openly and directly with Congress party of India?
Bjp is controlled by RSS and in this control we have seen how the Bjp leadership has to change there thoughts after making comments as RSS leaders do not agree with that vision.

RSS says that they are cultural party and want to work for the betterment of India.
RSS says they want to build strong and new Hindu nation.
Without political power no one can build a nation. Building a nation is a political process; to build a nation one needs the law making power without this power no one can build a nation.
In the history of mankind do you ever heard that any organization without joining the government or political party has built a nation.
The answer is no, there is no way to build a nation without joining a political party or forming a political party.
As an organization you can make the progress of few people, few cities but you can not achieve the progress of nation.
Without political will no country can rise, so if RSS is not ready to form the political party then RSS should forget that they will be successful in building the strong India.
If they are successful at this I will be very happy but truth is truth no body can deny it that without political will no nation can rise.
“Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.”
Now the time has come for RSS to change itself and become a political party as there is lot of time available to make preparations to contests elections in the year 2014, if you will lose this chance I fear you will not get such a golden opportunity.
When RSS will become Political party they will realize that Hindu people of India do not want Hindu nation but they want a nation with vision where freedom, equality will be more important than Hindu or Muslim or any other religion.
The dream of RSS of building a Hindu nation is also itself against the constitution of India.
India is not a religious nation and our constitution does not support it.
But problem with the RSS is that they are not sure about which Hindu nation they want,
Do they want Hindu nation which Manu Wanted or They wanted to make there own Hindu nation.
I hope RSS will publish a book which will let the common Indians know what the dream of Hindu Nation is for them, for RSS which Hindu rules are applied.

“The present political scenario is very disappointing. No party is working for the welfare of the people and in the national interest. A person with a clean image should come forward to play active role in the public life.”
Currently only RSS is the organization who can give such persons to India who are honest and who are not mad about religion protection but are mad about achieving the progress of India, a dream India where per hour salary of office boy will be also 400 to 500 rupees which is possible if the government is in the hands of honest persons and we change how the government machinery works.

Today Indian politics has become a fight club or a gutter where common Indian man has no place and he can not win the elections. In the elections of 2009 we saw that many educated and honest persons lost the elections, this will keep happening as they do not have back up of a strong organization.
Today if you are gunda or criminal person only then you got the chance to stay in this political fight club or gutter. Even if honest persons are elected I guarantee you that you will not see the change, as we need to change the political system, the working style of government, we need to change everything which has given us by the British government.

Who has got the power to clean this political mess and gutter?
Who has got the power to clean and change this political system?
There is no hope and no one is in the eyesight.
Only one answer is RSS- Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh
Once RSS becomes a political party they have to answer this question what is there dream and policy regarding Hindu nation.

More the delay Rss - Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh will do to join the politics more weak they will become.
You may wonder, 'How can I leave it all behind if I am just coming back to it? How can I make a new beginning if I simply return to the old?' The answer lies in the return. You will not come back to the 'same old thing.' What you return to has changed because you have changed. Your perceptions will be altered. You will not incorporate into the same body, status, or world you left behind. The river has been flowing while you were gone. Now it does not look like the same river.

Good thoughts are no better than good dreams, unless they be executed.
To execute good thoughts one needs political power
Otherwise good thoughts will remain good dreams

We cannot adopt the way of living that was satisfactory a hundred years ago. The world in which we live has changed, and we must change with it.

H1N1 Swine Flu Information and Cure with Ayurveda

H1N1 Swine Flu Information and Cure with Ayurveda -
Prevention is better than cure.
What is novel H1N1 (swine flu)?
In the beginning this virus was referred as swine flu because genes in this new virus were similar to influenza viruses that occur in pigs, swine in North America. Later it is proved that this virus is different from North American pigs.
This new virus was first detected in people in the United States in April 2009. This virus is spreading from person-to-person worldwide, probably in much the same way that regular seasonal influenza viruses spread.
How the virus spreads?

This virus spreads same way like seasonal influenza through coughing or sneezing by people with influenza, or by touching something such as surface or object with flu virus on it and then touching there mouth or nose.
How do I know if I have influenza A (H1N1)?
Without medical help no one can say he is suffering from seasonal influenza or H1N1.
The Typical symptoms are fever, headache, body aches, sore throat and runny nose.
A significant number of people who have been infected with this virus also have reported diarrhea and vomiting.
What can I do to protect myself from getting sick with H1N1?
There is no vaccine available right now to protect against H1N1 virus.
1. Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash after you use it.
2. avoid touching your mouth and nose
3. Clean hands thoroughly with soap and water, or cleanse them with an alcohol-based hand rub on a regular basis. When you wash your hands -- with soap and warm water -- that you wash for 15 to 20 seconds.
4. avoid close contact with people who might be ill
5. reduce the time spent in crowded settings
6. Influenza virus can survive on environmental surfaces and can infect a person for 2 to 8 hours after being deposited on the surface.
7. Virus spreads when a person touches something that is contaminated with germs and then touches his or her eyes or nose or mouth. Droplets from a cough or sneeze of an infected person move through the air.
8. To prevent the spread of influenza virus, it is recommended that tissues and other disposable items used by an infected person be thrown in the trash. Additionally, persons should wash their hands with soap and water after touching used tissues and similar waste.
9. H1N1 viruses are not spread by food.
10. People may become infected by touching something with flu viruses on it and then touching their mouth or nose.
11. A person should seek medical care if they experience shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, or if a fever continues more than three days.
12. Whether you have influenza A (H1N1) or a seasonal influenza, you should stay home and away from work through the duration of your symptoms. This is a precaution that can protect your work colleagues and others.
13. If you are feeling unwell or have symptoms of influenza, you should not travel.
14. Travelers can protect themselves and others by following simple prevention practices that apply while traveling and in daily life.

What about using a mask?
If you are not sick you do not have to wear a mask.
Using a mask incorrectly however, may actually increase the risk of transmission, rather than reduce it.
When you are going to purchase the mask please check the validity is it for one time use or more. You can use home made mask also.
If you are caring for a sick person, you can wear a mask when you are in close contact with the ill person and dispose of it immediately after contact, and cleanse your hands thoroughly afterwards.
If you are sick and must travel or be around others, cover your mouth and nose.

Mothers and breastfeeding:
Mothers can breastfeed there babies. Studies on other influenza infections show that breastfeeding is most likely protective for babies.Brestfeeding provides the best overall
Nutrition for babies and increases their defense factors to fight illness.

Does WHO recommend screenings at country entry and exit points to detect if ill people are traveling?
No. We do not believe entry and exit screenings would work to reduce the spread of this disease. However country-level measures to respond to a public health risk are the decision of national authorities, under the International Health Regulations 2005.

Countries that adopt measures that significantly interfere with international traffic (e.g. delaying an airplane passenger for more than 24 hours, or refusing country entry or departure to a traveler) must provide WHO with the public health reasoning and evidence for their actions. WHO will follow up with all of its Member countries on such matters?

Travelers should always be treated with dignity and respect for their human rights.
Limiting travel and imposing travel restrictions would have very little effect on stopping the virus from spreading.

Home Remedies Ayurveda Home Made Tips to Counter Swine Flu-
1. To prevent swine flu virus in the initial stages the respiratory system needs to be strong, to make it strong people should apply mustard oil and sesame oil inside there nostrils thrice a day and swallow six to eight Tulsi or Basil leaves with water in a day.
2. Grind 1 tea spoon of black pepper and 1 tea spoon of fenugreek into powder.
3. Early morning and evening, take 1 tea spoon of mixed powder in the mouth and drink 1 cup of butter milk.
4. Black pepper and fenugreek are both antiviral and toxin removers.
5. Burning incense made of neem, camphor, cow dung and frankincense kills germs and virus in the air
6. Keep the house free of germs by burning incense made of camphor, neem, turmeric and cow ghee. It’s not essential to have all the ingredients which you got you should use it and try to get other ingredients for later use.
7. Herbs like Echinacea and Triphala are given to completely remove any symptoms one might have of flu. Echinacea is a very prominent herb in ayurveda to treat any type of flu. It is used as a natural antibiotic, treats infections, increases body s resistance against diseases and helps in purification of blood. Fruits containing vitamin c and zinc oxide are also help in fighting against flu symptoms.
Update.
Thanks for your comment swineflu. But i do not think there is any scam is going on.
First read the comment of the swineflu scam who says there scam is going on.
"Dear Sm, I am totally disagree with some of the points you mention in your post. First of all vaccine is already available even they tried it in 1976, secondly about these herbal drugs, there is no coordinated effort to formulate a herbal medicine that could really wipe out Viral Infections. How much Black pepper we had to take if we get H1N1 flu?? Also, the success rate is much low when compared to some other systems. It is true that ethanolic extracts, in acetone extracts most of herbal drugs show synergised anti microbial activity. Unfortunately after formulating, its effect in body is pretty poor. I should say that some traditional systems of Ayurveda much helpful in Hepatitis, but no steady formulations. Some of them really fight the flu symptoms but not flu causing Virus. It is just because, inorder to kill Virus, medicines must be able to penetrate cellular membrane and destruct it, or give new push to Body Immune System. Felicitating body immune system is just an illusion, even good rest, food and sleep can provide that. Know the reality behind SWINE FLU, just follow my name"
Reply to this comment -
World health organisation has declared that in the month of september 2009 or later the first swine flu vaccine will be available.I hope that after this clarifaction you will understand that there is no vaccine avaliable to treat the swine flu.We got only one weapon that is prevention against swine flu.
In particular, a very rare neurological condition called Guillain Barre syndrome [ It is frequently severe and usually exhibits as an ascending paralysis starting as weakness in the legs that spreads to the upper limbs and the face along with loss of deep tendon reflexes.death may occur if severe pulmonary complications and dysautonomia are present] affected 500 people during a US vaccine programme against swine flu in 1976.The episode triggered an enduring public backlash against flu vaccination
Currently Clinical trials are already underway in China, Australia, USA, UK, and Germany. One key part of the trials is to work out whether people need one or two doses of the vaccine.
About herbal drugs i have mentioned beacuse prevention is better than cure.
People are afraid to go outside also.So with these herbal and ayurveda herb uses one will get the confidance
and confidance is one of the key ingredients to beat any disease.Confidance means will power.
There is no such scam is going as claimed by swine flu .
But we must accept that there is no need to be fearful but to stop the spread of the swine flu governments all over world are takeing all the possible measures.
1918: The Spanish flu pandemic remains the most devastating outbreak of modern times. Caused by a form of the H1N1 strain of flu, it is estimated that up to 40% of the world's population were infected, and more than 50 million people died, with young adults particularly badly affected
1957: Asian flu killed two million people. Caused by a human form of the virus, H2N2, combining with a mutated strain found in wild ducks. The impact of the pandemic was minimised by rapid action by health authorities, who identified the virus, and made vaccine available speedily. The elderly were particularly vulnerable
1968: An outbreak first detected in Hong Kong, and caused by a strain known as H3N2, killed up to one million people globally, with those over 65 most likely to die
1976 Swine Flu Vaccine
Although it is true that we don't currently have a swine flu vaccine, there once was a swine flu vaccine that was made to target the swine flu H1N1 strain that was found at Fort Dix, New Jersey. Because of fears that this swine flu strain was similar to the flu strain that caused the 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic, a vaccination program immunized more than 40 million people in the United States between October 1976 to December 1976.
The immunization program was stopped early because the swine flu pandemic didn't occur, and the swine flu vaccine was thought to cause many side effects, including Guillain-Barre syndrome.
In 1976 swine flu attack more people died from vaccine. There are concerns that there could be a repeat of what became known as the ‘1976 debacle’ in the US, where a swine flu vaccine killed 25 people – more than the virus itself.
The swine flu virus in the new vaccine is a slightly different strain from the 1976 virus, but the possibility of an increased incidence of GBS remains a concern.
As the swine influenza A (H1N1) virus is a new virus, no swine flu vaccine is available to prevent infections.
The new virus H1N1 has made the jump from pigs to humans and has demonstrated it can also pass from human to human. This is why it is demanding so much attention from health authorities. The virus passes from human to human like other types of flu, either through coughing, sneezing, or by touching infected surfaces, although little is known about how the virus acts on humans.
CDC has said that,It is estimated that the swine flu vaccine won't be ready until sometime around September to November 2009.
Take the precautions and swine flu will not affect you.

Hindu outfit wants Goa museum to remove Husain painting
The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has demanded that the Goa Museum should remove the painting of M.F.Husain titled “Standing Buddha".
Immediately after this the Goa Museum director Radha Bhave said that she would be meeting higher officials later this week to decide on whether to continue the display of the oil painting which shows a white bull against a vividly coloured backdrop.
Reality Views by sm:
Before this incident I was not aware of this bull painting,

this action of HJS has prompted me to check and see the painting of standing bull by M.F.Husain.
After seeing the painting I didn’t see any bull or neither a Buddha in that painting.
I felt it is a painting of horse. Let me know do you see Buddha or Bull or Horse. I have posted the photo of painting .
If we love Buddha so much why then we do not pressure Indian Government to act and get the Tibet back from China.
Why we do not protest when hundreds of Buddhist are killed or jailed in Tibet.
Why we didn’t asked our Indian government to send troops to save the standing Buddha which was destroyed by the terror organizations in the past.
Do we follow the path which Buddha has shown?
What happened because of this action the international price of this painting must have been increased.
The painter popularity is increased.
India is a democratic country what about our constitutional rights.

Our Friend Bk has ask me this question through comment .
What is wrong in the demand of HJS to remove this standing Buddha painting ?
Reply to Comment and Question:
I wanted to know what is wrong in that painting.
I didn’t see any thing wrong in that painting. Even in Hindu Dharma Bull is seen and has a status of God.
God Nandi. If you will visit the city of Bangalore there is one famous Nandi Bull Temple.
Hope you got the point, when you see that picture as a Bull one can see it as Nandi and
He can worship it.
Then what about freedom of art, Freedom of expression guaranteed by Constitution of India .
Do we got the Taliban ruling so there is opposition to this simple painting of bull or horse whatsoever.
I didn’t see any Buddha in that picture, what is in the name I have seen and heard the names given to hotels like Buddha Bar etc.
Teachings of Buddha-
Buddha encouraged everyone to have compassion for each other and develop their own virtue, "You should do your own work, for I can teach only the way."
Buddha always said that, No matter what we say, others know us from the way we behave. Before we criticize others, we should first see what we do ourselves.
Most important teaching of Buddha is that do not waste effort on things that harm us and others.
Hindu Dharma teaches that one should learn to see the god in everything.
God is everywhere including animals; there is one famous story of Saint Dyaneshwar Maharaj where a bull recited Vedic hymns.
So why to waste our energy, government time, government money by demanding to remove that painting and doing meetings after meetings on this simple painting.
Please let me know do you see in that Painting Buddha or Bull or Horse or just some vivid colors.
Thanks BK for reading the post and asking the question.

Know About Quran And Prophet Muhammad –

Know About Quran And Prophet Muhammad –
What is Quran?
Quran is the religious, Holy Scripture book of the Muslim people, who follow religion Islam. Islamic laws are based, derived from Quran. It is the primary source of the Islamic law and way of life for people who follow Islam.

Muslims believe that it is the direct word of God.

Allah is the Arabic word for the Supreme Being, God; it simply means
‘The God’. It was used during the time of the Prophet Muhammad by pre- Islamic Arabs in Mecca to refer to a high God, above the idols that many Arabs worshipped. In Islam, this name came to be used for the one and only God. Muslims believe this God is the God of Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad.

Muslims believe that Muhammad was the final prophet of God.
Muslim tradition holds that Muhammad was orphaned at a very young age.
He started his career as Merchant.

At the age of 25 he married his employer a wealthy Meccan woman Khadija who was older than Muhammad.
She died before him . Together, they had four daughters and two sons, although their sons
died in infancy.

When Muhammad was 40 years old, he received a ‘revelation’ while
meditating in a cave near Mecca.

In the beginning he do not understand what was happening to him but later he understood that he was a prophet of God, entrusted with communicating God’s Word to his people.
First he told this to his family and friends who joined his teachings ,later disadvantaged people from Meccan society started to join him.

Muhammad’s message emphasized the Oneness of God.
He told the rich and powerful people to take care of poor or needy.
He warned them that on a Day of Reckoning when all would be judged according
to their actions.

As his followers grew the tension in the society increased and he told his followers to take the protection from Christian ruler of Abyssinia.

After that there is incident of famous travel which he made , and few followers joined him.
As conflict was rising he told the people to migrate and from this time Islamic calendar was started which remains the base date for the Islamic calendar – the hijri calendar – used by Muslims today.

The Islamic calendar-
The Islamic calendar is a luna calendar with 12 months having 29 and 30 days in each month. The calendar is based on the cycles of moon.
Gregorian calendar is based on the solar cycle.
Gregorian calendar has 11 more days than Islamic calendar.

Prophet Muhammad stayed in the Medina until his death in the year 632.
In Medina Jewish tribes also lived who did not convert ,but slowly they left the medina and went to some other place. Muhammad becomes the spiritual as well as political leader.

After that Muhammad started the Friday prayers.
Muhammad started introduced reforms in the society he gave more rights to females related to inheritance, marriage and divorce.
After that the tribal wars started who opposed the Muhammad , and at Badr Meccans were defeated who opposed him .
These wars continued but later Meccans were fully defeated and Muhammad entered to Mecca and he died there after 2 years in the year 632.

Quran gave female evidence a half value than male evidence so it gave lower status to females.
Sometimes it gives equal status to female and sometimes it gives lower status to the females.
After Muhammad’s death conflict arose and there were divided into the 3 groups
Shi‘a, Sunnis and Khariji.
Sunnis were responsible for many of the early hadith collections and the recording of early Islamic history. Once developed, Sunni Islam came to be seen as orthodoxy and still represents the majority of Muslims today.
Sufism, or Islamic mysticism, emerged in the 8th century.

Muslims believe that the God reveals His Will to humanity through chosen prophets.
Muhammad is the last prophet, the words, will of god which Muhammad received is known as Quran.
Reciting the Qur’an in Arabic is believed to allow the reader to, in a sense, com-
municate directly with the divine and hence experience revelation itself.
Muslims refer Muhammad as Prophet Muhammad ,Allah’s Messenger ,Allah’s Apostle , The Prophet and The Messenger.
After the death of the Prophet, God’s revelations ‘were closed’, prophet received revelations until his death.
Quran is referred as the Revelation (tanzil), the Reminder (dhikr), and the Criterion (furqan)
and the Scripture (kitab).

In the year 656 Quran was compiled as a book it is beloved that it was Abu Bakr the first caliph ordered compilation of the Quran.

The Quran is consisted of 114 chapters and each chapter contains verses or ayas.
Some verses are short phrase or single word and some verses are several sentences.

Mecca and Medina these are the 2 places where Prophet received the revelations .
Muslims believe that while the Qur’an was being revealed between 610 and 632 CE, the Prophet reportedly instructed his followers to memorize the verses.

Year and Revelation

610: First verses of the Qur’an revealed.

620: Five daily prayers are made obligatory and the Prophet experiences his Night Journey to Jerusalem and Ascension to Heaven.

624: Verses revealed which make zakat (giving in charity) and fasting in
Ramadan compulsory and which change the direction of prayer
to Mecca.

625: Verses revealed which prohibit drinking wine.

631: Verses revealed which make Hajj obligatory, and prohibit riba
(understood to mean usury or interest).

632: The final Qur’anic revelation occurs, the Prophet Muhammad dies
and Abu Bakr becomes the caliph.

633: The first collection of the Qur’an is completed under Abu Bakr.

634: Abu Bakr dies and Umar ibn al-Khattab becomes the caliph;

Umar is entrusted with the collected texts of the Qur’an which he
later entrusts to his daughter Hafsa.

644: Umar dies and Uthman ibn Affan becomes the caliph.

645: Uthman commissions Zayd and his committee to create an official
codex of the Qur’an to be circulated through the Muslim
provinces. The Uthmanic Codex is finalized and disseminated throughout the
Muslim lands; any variants are destroyed.
656: Uthman dies and Ali ibn Abi Talib (Muhammad’s son-in-law)
becomes the caliph.

total number of Qur’anic verses may range from 6,212
to 6,250 because of numbering system.
Few people claim that Quran consist of bigbang theory also, they claim that
the following verse refers to the Big Bang: ‘Are the disbelievers not aware that the heavens and
the earth used to be joined together and that We ripped them apart, that We
made every living thing from water?’50

Quran is very important in the Muslim world as well as second important work is
Hadith. Hadith refers to the reports by the Prophet’s contemporaries about the Prophet’s
speech and conduct.

the Prophet is often referred to in Muslim tradition as the ‘walking Qur’an’, and his sunna, or his ways of doing things, was regarded as a practical commentary on the Qur’an.
A Muslim’s knowledge of the Prophet’s sunna comes from the hadith.

The collection made by Bukhri is called as Sahih meaning The Authentic is considered by Sunni Muslims to be most authentic collection of Hadith.

An example of Hadith –
An example of a hadith related to the Qur’anic injunction to pray is as
follows:

A man entered the mosque and started praying while the Messenger of
God was sitting somewhere in the mosque. Then (after finishing the
prayer) the man came to the Prophet and greeted him.

The Prophet said to him, ‘Go back and pray, for you have not prayed.’ The man went
back, and having prayed, he came and greeted the Prophet. The Prophet
after returning his greetings said, ‘Go back and pray, for you did not
pray.’ On the third time the man said, ‘(O Messenger of God!) teach me
(how to pray).’

The Prophet said, ‘When you get up for the prayer,
perform the ablution properly and then face the Qibla [direction of
prayer] and say “God is the Greatest”, and then recite of what you know
of the Qur’an, and then bow, and remain in this state till you feel at rest
in bowing, and then raise your head and stand straight; and then
prostrate till you feel at rest in prostration, and then sit up till you feel
at rest while sitting; and then prostrate again till you feel at rest in
prostration; and then get up and stand straight, and do all this in all your
prayers.’52

But the Qur’an does not provide any details as to how a Muslim should perform the prayer. These practical details are found in hadith.
Reports of the Prophet’s sayings and deeds, known as hadith, are an important component of the Islamic textual tradition.

During the Prophet Muhammad’s time many Arabs in Mecca believed that there is one god
And there are other gods who are link between main gods, but Quran rejected this and it introduced the concept of One God.

Quran states that God has many names like

1. Lord of Mercy

2. Creator

3. Tremendous

4. Giver of Mercy

5. Forgiver

6. Eternal

7. True King

8. Ever Giving

9. Ever Living

10. Holy One

11. All Knowing

12. Self-Subsistent

13. Source of Peace

14. All Seeing

15. Truth

16. Guardian

17. Most Forbearing

18. Giver of Life

19. Almighty

20. Most Loving

. Ninety-nine of God’s ‘most beautiful names’ are known, although the most common one, which encompasses all His attributes, is simply ‘Allah’.

The Qur’an also states that God has no sons or daughters: ‘He fathered no one nor was He fathered. God has full knowledge of everything.

In another verse, the Qur’an says: He is God: there is no other god but Him. It is He who knows what is hidden as well as what is in the open, He is the Lord of Mercy, the Giver of Mercy. He is God: there is no other god but Him, the Controller, the Holy One, Source of Peace, Granter of Security, Guardian overall, the Almighty, the Compeller, to whom all greatness belongs; God is far above anything they consider to be His partner.

Quran talks about angels also and they have names also, such as Gabriel and Michael.
The belief in angels is such that it is one of six pillars of faith in Islam.

Angels are obedient to God. Quran talks about Jinn it says that they have free will and may or may not be obedient to God;

The Qur’anic symbol of evil and disobedience to God is Satan (Shaytan), also called Iblis. Iblis is a creature described in the Qur’an as being of the jinn in origin, who somehow came to be regarded as an angel.

God created first Human Adam and then told angels to bow to the Adam.

All the angels obey, but Iblis objects to God’s command and argues that
he is superior to Adam because he is created from fire, while Adam is a
creature of clay.

Quran speaks about the creation of the sun, the moon, the stars, life on earth ,water, changing seasons, and creation of trees, fruits and grains and tells that these are the signs of God.
After creating Adam ,he created Eve and tested them through the means of the forbidden tree, but Adam and Eve both failed in the Gods test after this God told them to live on the earth and thus Adam become the first human , teacher, guide and prophet.

God promised to the Adam that time to time he will send his messengers to earth to guide his children.

The Qur’an mentions the names of 25 prophets.

Many Muslims also believe that there are more prophets may well be over a hundred thousand.
Names of prophets mentioned in the Qur’an

1. Adam

2. Harun (Aaron)

3. Idris (Enoch)

4. Da’ud (David)

5. Nuh (Noah)

6. Sulayman (Solomon)

7. Hud

8. Dhu’l-Kifl (probably Ezekiel)

9. Salih (Shelah)

10. al-Yasa‘ (Elisha)

11. Lut (Lot)

12. Ayyub (Job)

13. Ibrahim (Abraham)

14. Yunus (Jonah)

15. Isma‘il (Ishmael)

16. Zakariyya (Zechariah)

17. Ishaq (Isaac)

18. Yahya (John)

19. Ya‘qub (Jacob)

20. Ilyas (Elijah)

21. Yusuf (Joseph)

22. Isa (Jesus)

23. Shu‘ayb (probably Jethro)

24. Musa (Moses)

25. Muhammad

Mary is described in another verse of the Qur’an as being chosen by God above all other women, and is known to Muslims as the essence of virtue and a model for all people to aspire to.
Muslims believe that Mary’s con- ception of Jesus was by divine miracle.
Mary gave birth to the Jesus out of wedlock.

Quran says that complete record is kept of every human and accordingly he will be punished or rewarded on the day of Judgement.

Quran says that people who do not follow the path of prophet will go to Hell ,hell is a
Place where these people will be punished, its place of fire and torment.

Quran says the people who will follow the path of God will go to Paradise.

Quran says that paradise is the place where there is no sadness , is a garden full of comfort and luxury.

There are five pillers of Islam or Commandments those are

1. Muslims to believe in one God

2. pray regularly

3. give generously to support the poor, needy and disadvantaged

4. fast in the month of Ramadan

5. possible, perform the pilgrimage to Mecca.

Quran contains many prohibitions like

1. drinking wine

2. theft

3. adultery

4. fornication

5. murder

6. causing injury to others.

7. misappropriation of property

8. gambling

9. giving false testimony

10. usury or interest (riba)

Jews and Christians are referred to in the Qur’an as ‘People of the Book’ because they have received scriptures from God. Muslim belief in the afterlife and accountability for our own actions are both important messages of the Qur’an.

A Muslim is obliged to pray at least five times a day: once before sunrise; at noon; once in the afternoon; at sunset and once at night.

And the answer to all my dreams
You're my sun, my moon, my guiding star
My kind of wonderful, that's what you are
I know there's only, only one like you
There's no way they could have made two
You're all I'm living for
Your love I'll keep for evermore
You're the first, your the last, my everything

And with you I've found so many things
A love so new only you could bring
Can't you see it's you
You make me feel this way
You're like a fresh morning dew on a brand new day
I see so many ways that I
Can love you till the day I die
You're my reality, yet I'm lost in a-a-a a dream
You're the first, the last, my everything

I know there's only, only one like you
There's no way they could have made two
Girl you're my reality

Lyrics of the song without love

To live for today and to love for tomorrow
Is the wisdom of a fool
Because tomorrow is promised to no one

You see
Love is that wonderful thing
That the whole world needs plenty of.
If you think for one minute that you can live without it
Then you are only fooling yourself.
Listen
Please
I like to tell you something
That happened to me just the other day.
I awakened this morning
I was filled with despair
All my dreams turned to ashes and now they are gone.
And I looked at my life it was barren and bare
Without Love I had nothing at all.
Without Love I had nothing
Without Love I had nothing at all.
I had conquered the world
But what then did I have ?
Without Love I had nothing at all.
I once had a sweetheart
Who loved only me
There was nothing that she would not give.
I was blind to her goodness and I just could not see
That a heart without love cannot live.
Without Love I had nothing
Without Love I had nothing at all.
I had conquered the world
But what then did I have ?
Without Love I had nothing at all.

Daniel Bedingfield - If You're Not the One Lyrics and Video

See the video below If You're Not the One Lyrics

If you’re not the one then why does my soul feel glad today?
If you’re not the one then why does my hand fit yours this way?
If you are not mine then why does your heart return my call
If you are not mine would I have the strength to stand at all

I'll never know whatthe future brings
But I know you're here with me now
We’ll make it through
And I hope you are the one I share my life with

I don’t want to run away but I can’t take it, I don’t understand
If I’m not made for you then why does my heart tell me that I am?
Is there any way that I can stay in your arms?

If I don’t need you then why am I crying on my bed?
If I don’t need you then why does your name resound in my head?
If you’re not for me then why does this distance maim my life?
If you’re not for me then why do I dream of you as my wife?

I don’t know why you’re so far away
But I know that this much is true
We’ll make it through
And I hope you are the one I share my life with
And I wish that you could be the one I die with
And I pray in you’re the one I build my home with
I hope I love you all my life

I don’t want to run away but I can’t take it, I don’t understand
If I’m not made for you then why does my heart tell me that I am
Is there any way that I can stay in your arms?

‘Cause I miss you, body and soul so strong that it takes my breath away
And I breathe you into my heart and pray for the strength to stand today
‘Cause I love you, whether it’s wrong or right
And though I can’t be with you tonight
You know my heart is by your side

I don’t want to run away but I can’t take it, I don’t understand
If I’m not made for you then why does my heart tell me that I am
Is there any way that I could stay in your arms

India: Parliament Passes Right to Education Bill

India: Parliament Passes Right to Education Bill
Reality views by sm:

The law which should have been passed immediate after the Indian independence
Was passed in the year 2009. Article 45 of the Constitution “seeks to provide free and compulsory education for all children up to the age of 14” under the directive principals.
16 years back the Supreme Court ruled that elementary education should be made a fundamental right
It’s good that this failure is corrected now by the government of Man Mohan Singh.
The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Bill, 2009, was passed in the Rajya Sabha on July 20 .The lower house passed the bill by a voice vote.

Few important provisions of this bill are as follows.

1. 25% reservation in private schools for disadvantaged children from the neighborhood, at the entry level. The government will reimburse expenditure incurred by schools.
2. Running a school without recognition will attract penal action.
3. The Bill also prohibits physical punishment, expulsion or detention of a child
4. The bill also prohibits deployment of teachers for non-educational purposes other than census or election duty and disaster relief.
5. free and compulsory education for all children in the 6-14 age-group
6. The states have been given the liberty to decide the disadvantaged classes whose children would be eligible under the 25 percent reservation category, specified by the government as those from scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and educationally or economically backward classes.
7. This legislation provides for the inclusion of children who are disadvantage because of disability. The upper age limit for such children would be 18 instead of 16 for others.

Now President will sign the bill, which is just a formality and it will become a law.
It will be known as ‘The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Bill, 2009

Like other bills and laws we hope that this bill will not go into the dustbin or without implementation by state and central government. This law requires the team work of central and state government.
We all know that there is a law regarding child marriage, a law regarding child labor, law regarding dowry but still we find everyday these laws are violated and celebrated by Indian society.

Because of this bill there will be lot of demand for teachers and we will see corruption scandals in every state.
Today if we will see the condition of our Government schools I doubt that this law will be effective but still it’s good that at last the law is passed and slowly India started to move in right direction. From 1960 they are trying to pass this bill but in vain. So to pass this bill we have wasted more than 50 years to just pass the right to education bill.

This bill do not have provision to punish parents who do not send there kids to the schools.
Now this gives excuse to government to say we are trying but parents are not sending kids to school.
2nd problem is that the bill does not make compulsory for the kids of Member of Parliament to study in the Government school.
This is the only way our government school will get good facilities and good teachers.
The bill should have included the extra taxation on the people whose salaries are more than 1 lakh rupees per month like this provision.
The bill has other major problem regarding aid , as private schools will be given money by government to implement 25% reservation, the problem is that the bill does not say clearly who will pay the money central or state government , and in this fight Private schools will get excuse not to implement this rule in there schools.
The Bill doesn’t clearly state if the Union or state governments would reimburse the fees.

Is this historical moment or we need to think that what kind of Indians we are that we need so many years to think and act to decide this should be a fundamental right of every kid. I feel we need to fix this problem why we are so slow in regard of reforming India.

"Education would be so much more effective if its purpose were to ensure that by the time they leave school every boy and girl should know how much they don't know, and be imbued with a lifelong desire to know it."
Boredom will always remain the greatest enemy of school disciplines. If we remember that children are bored, not only when they don't happen to be interested in the subject or when the teacher doesn't make it interesting, but also when certain working conditions are out of focus with their basic needs, then we can realize what a great contributor to discipline problems boredom really is. Research has shown that boredom is closely related to frustration and that the effect of too much frustration is invariably irritability, withdrawal, rebellious opposition or aggressive rejection of the whole show.

John Dewey:
I believe that education is the fundamental method of social progress and reform. All reforms which rest simply upon the law, or the threatening of certain penalties, or upon changes in mechanical or outward arrangements, are transitory and futile.... But through education society can formulate its own purposes, can organize its own means and resources, and thus shape itself with definiteness and economy in the direction in which it wishes to move.... Education thus conceived marks the most perfect and intimate union of science and art conceivable in human experience.
My Pedagogic Creed, 1897

Our friend Pramod has raised few questions about this law and he does not agree with this law. This is reason i am updating this post with the answers to his questions which he has asked.
First Read what Pramod has commented :
I totally disagree about this law being good for the nation. Look at some of the provisions from a practical side with reference to private unaided schools - all the good schools in the country fall within this catagory. You want 25% free seats for poor - a good aim no doubt. Ok, the schools admits 25% without any fees. How will these kids stand upto the remaining population in the school who will naturally come from a richer background ? What about the books, dresses and other things that cost moon today ? Who is going to pay for those ? You say don't detain any kid in any class upto class VIII - ok. Now many of these free kids dont have books and other teaching aids - what do they have to show when they come out of class VIII - are they really educated ? You want 75% of the managing committee seats to be reserved for parents and political appointees - what private person will invest crores in setting up a really good place and then hand it over to unknown people who may not know a thing about what they are supposed to do it. Note it, private initiative in primary education is doomed if this law is enforced in present form. I for one, have already postponed my plans to set up a world class school.

Answer to this comment :
“We cannot seek achievement for ourselves and forget about progress and prosperity for our community... Our ambitions must be broad enough to include the aspirations and needs of others, for their sakes and for our own.”
This law is good for the India, problem with this law is that this law was not made in the 1950 which was the first duty of government of India
1. Yes Pramod I agree with you that all the good schools are unaided.
But do you know who gives them free land, do you know why only 30% Indians are enjoying 100% Indian resources and 70% Indians are living life like a beggar.
This 30% do not even know how the poor Indians are living , when hundreds of farmers committed suicide no body came to there help, but when One Satyam got problem ,immediate Government of India helped the Satyam and solved there problem.

2. Yes I agree with you who will pay the money, this is reason I said this bill lacks the provision of extra taxation on these 30% Indians. 70% Indians do daily earn 20 rupees as per government of India report and here these 30% Indians and few of them earn per minute 1 lakh rupees, how is it possible without corruption and bad laws. So its duty of government of India to do needful required whatever and provides poor Indians best education.
3. 2nd provision which we need in India is that all the kids of politicians should study in the government of India schools, make this law and I guarantee you in 2 years all the government schools will beat this unaided schools in every examination.
And competitions.

4. Today the tragedy of India is only 2 to 5% is given for the education.
in the budget, as education is considered useless in India, how much salary the teachers get even if teachers go on strike there salary is not increased how can we expect a teacher with mere salary will be able to teach the kids when he is unhappy
The law is good and perfect problem is with our thinking and politicians. And our legal system.
We saw many terror attacks on India and Bombay, but when first time Taj was attack media paid so much attention to this attack, before that there were Bombay train blast where poor Indians died no one went there and there was no Candle function.
So it’s as an Indian it’s our failure to make good laws and see that our poor people are uplifted.
In India how rich people start business I will tell you few examples, when you open Sez you get free land, you get tax free environment for 25 years or 10 years with best area on the other side our farmers produce food, they sell one rupee kg and when they go to buy seeds for next farming they don’t have seed, have to purchase from black market or the prices are too high. Why don’t they get seeds at the rate of 1 rupee kg?
Example 2- Multiplex do not pay tax for the first 2 or 3 years after starting there business.
Example 3 - how can government of India afford to spend more than 1000 crores rupees.
On building statues? And not ready to pay for the clothes and good decent living of people of India or the education of Indian poor kids.
If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. If an elephant has its foot on the tail of a mouse and you say that you are neutral, the mouse will not appreciate your neutrality.

Like this there are many examples I can give, the problem in India is that we are very slow in implementation of these laws.
The law has been made now let’s see that these laws are implemented and in the budget good amount of money should be kept for the education.
Let rich people also come into contact with poor people of India, let the rich kids know how there poor brothers and sisters are living in slums.
“All this will not be finished in the first hundred days. Nor will it be finished in the first thousand days, nor in the life of this administration, nor even perhaps in our lifetime on this planet. But let us begin.

Are you ready for the time of life
Its time to stand up and fight

So alright
So alright
Hand in hand we take a caravan to the marble land
One by one we gonna stand up with pride
One that cant be denied
Stand up
Stand up
From the highest mountain of valley old
We all shall together with heart of gold
Now the children of the world can see
This a better place for us to be
The place is which we were born
So neglected and torn apart

Every woman every man
Join the caravan of love
(stand up) stand up
Stand up
Every body takes a stand
Join the caravan of love
(stand up) stand up
Stand up

Im your brother
Im your brother dont you know
Shes my sister
Shes my sister dont you know

Well be living in the world of peace
And the day when everyone is free
Bring the young and the old
Want you let chilled flow from your heart

Every woman every man
Join the caravan of love
(stand up) stand up
Stand up
Every body takes a stand
Join the caravan of love
(stand up) stand up
Stand up

Im your brother
Im your brother dont you know
Shes my sister
Shes my sister dont you know

So are you ready ( hes coming )
Are you ready ( hes coming )
Are you ready ( hes coming )
Are you ready ( hes coming on the caravan )
You better get ready ( go for it )
You better get ready ( go for it )
You better get ready ( go for it )
You better get ready

This song is sung by pretenders and girls aloud and carrie underwood in the american idol
This song is Originally performed by The Pretenders
Lyrics of the song "I'll Stand By You" See the video below the lyrics.

Oh, Why You Look So Sad?
Tears are in your eyes
Come on and come to me now
Don’t be ashamed to cry
Let me see you through
’cause I’ve seen the dark side too
When the night falls on you
You don’t know what to do
Nothing you confess
Could make me love you less

I’ll stand by you
I’ll stand by you
Won’t let nobody hurt you
I’ll stand by you

So if you’re mad, get mad
Don’t hold it all inside
Come on and talk to me now
Hey, what you got to hide?
I get angry too
Well I’m a lot like you
When you’re standing at the crossroads
And don’t know which path to choose
Let me come along
’cause even if you’re wrong

I’ll stand by you
I’ll stand by you
Won’t let nobody hurt you
I’ll stand by you
Take me in, into your darkest hour
And I’ll never desert you
I’ll stand by you

And when...
When the night falls on you, baby
You’re feeling all alone
You won’t be on your own

I’ll stand by you
I’ll stand by you
Won’t let nobody hurt you

I’ll stand by you
Take me in, into your darkest hour
And I’ll never desert you
I’ll stand by you
I’ll stand by you
Won’t let nobody hurt you
I’ll stand by you
Won’t let nobody hurt you
I’ll stand by you
